So many deviations...

Sun Jun 7, 2009, 5:41 AM
So I have been thinking...deviantART is almost too big. I feel like there are so many works of art being submitted that it is way too easy to miss out on some really great stuff. I spend some time every few days looking at the newest deviations and refreshing every few mins to see more. I fave as much as I can and I watch people who have interesting galleries. I still feel like there is so much good stuff being lost in the shuffle. How can we really appreciate what is on here when we don't even know it is there.
I guess I should learn how to do better journal entries and feature stuff I like that other people might have missed. But who knows if anyone would even read the journal in the first place? or look at the work I suggest. My journals probably get deleted in people's message boxes as fast as my newest deviations do and I am not really just talking about myself. That goes for everyone's because I am guilty of it too.
Someone made a wonderful comment on a painting I did yesterday and it really made me think about this site and us and our work and our efforts, that is where this is all coming from if you were wondering.
Thanks for listening (and for watching).
